Jewelry Exchange
May 12, 2024 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Sunday, May 12, after service
Bring in jewelry you no longer wear and select pieces to take home! Since set up will be the day before, please bring jewelry to the church office ahead of time if possible, marked "for jewelry exchange." Don't have jewelry to donate? Monetary donations to the church are accepted as well, and you can even bring single earrings, broken strands, etc., and we will bag these together, as crafty people buy these to restring and repurpose. Any leftover jewelry will go to the church rummage sale in August. -

May 14, 2024 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Conference Room & ZoomTuesday, May 14, 5:30-7:30 pm, Conference Room & Zoom at https://tinyurl.com/njny88fj
Do you hope to face our human mortality with less fear and more curiosity? With less euphemism and more reality? With less conformity and more creativity? If that sounds like you or who you hope to become, Welcome to Date with Death Club. We’ll plan to meet every other month at UUCP to explore topics of aging, death, and dying. Attend one, some, or all sessions.
This month we’ll explore Good Life & Good Death: What do people mean when they say “a good death?” And how is that connected to having “a good life?” Is it the same for everyone? Are there barriers to a good life? What do these terms mean for you?
