Amy Popp

Director of Religious Education

Amy Popp is the professional who provides high-quality programs for our children and youth. She leads the children’s portion of our worship services, directs our Sunday school classes, and organizes special events for kids and their families. Amy has been a member of our church since 1996 and our Director of Religious Education since 2002. In addition to her job duties, she is active on several church committees. Amy is mother to two high school youth.



  • Master’s degree in education, University of Illinois
  • Bachelor of Arts in English, minor in psychology, University of Illinois
  • Junior high school teacher for seven years
  • Completed the Unitarian Universalist Association’s program and achieved Credentialed Religious Educator status in April 2009
