Every week we provide loving care in our Nursery for the youngest UUs among us.

In addition to one paid Nursery provider, we have a second volunteer.

Spirit Play

Pre K – First Grade

All Year

Spirit Play uses storytelling, ritual, play, and creativity to help children explore their Unitarian Universalist faith. It is inspired by the Montessori method and focuses on fostering a child’s individual search for truth & meaning. 

World Blessings

Second – Fourth Grade

All Year

In World Blessings, elementary students explore the diversity of our world through the joy of cooking. Each class introduces children to a different country, religion, holiday, or holy day while learning about the culture and preparing a recipe connected to it.

Through food, stories, and shared blessings, children practice cultural appreciation and deepen their understanding of our interconnected world. Each class concludes with the children creating and sharing a blessing together before enjoying the food they have prepared.

Inspirations

Fifth – Sixth Grade

All Year

Middle schoolers will explore the Unitarian Universalist understanding of “transcending mystery and wonder” and the many sacred, secular, and scientific sources that inspire us. Through reflection and exploration, we’ll consider how inspiration connects to our values, histories, cultures, and lived experiences. Together, we’ll practice curiosity, deepen our wisdom, and learn how to engage respectfully with the diverse traditions and ideas that enrich our faith.

Seventh – Ninth Grade

Fall 2026

Maybe you’ve heard it said that we put “Love at the Center” of our Unitarian Universalist faith but what does that look like in practice? Join us for Deeper Joy games and heart felt conversations to explore how you choose to live your UU faith.

The UU Place

Ninth – Twelfth Grade

Winter 2026, Spring 2027

What makes a good person? How do we live meaningful, ethical lives? In this class for high school youth, we’ll use the TV show The Good Place as a springboard for exploring Unitarian Universalist theology, ethics, and big questions about life, death, justice, community, and what it means to become better humans. Through humor, discussion, and reflection, we’ll connect the show’s ideas to our own UU values and beliefs.

Our Whole Lives: Lifespan Sexuality Education

10th – 12th, Fall 2026

7th – 8th, Winter 2026 & Spring 2027

Honest, accurate information about sexuality changes lives. It dismantles stereotypes and assumptions, builds self-acceptance and self-esteem, fosters healthy relationships, improves decision-making, and has the potential to save lives.

For these reasons and more, we are proud to offer Our Whole Lives (OWL), a comprehensive, lifespan sexuality education curriculum.
