Ministry and Pastoral Care
Our church is a caring community. Caring starts with the personal, one-to-one relationships that are such an important part of church life. And when special needs arise, members of the congregation can contact the church office for any of the following services.
Pastoral Counseling
Our ministers provide confidential short-term counseling regarding personal or religious issues. Call 688-5608 and ask to speak to one of the ministers, or send a confidential email to the minister or assistant minister.
Caring Committee
The Caring Committee is a group of lay volunteers who provide a host of helpful services. They keep in touch with members of the congregation who are ill, infirm, hospitalized, or just need some extra care. The Caring Committee also responds to congregational needs such as hosting funeral receptions.
Life Transitions
Our church offers life transition ceremonies, including:
- Weddings and services of union.
- Baby dedications and baptisms.
- Funerals and memorial services. In addition, disposition of cremains on church land is available for members and others with a connection to the church.
