Join Peoria Proud at our Universalist Unitarian Church of Peoria for our annual observance of the Transgender Day of Remembrance. Transgender Day of Remembrance is an internationally-honored event that honors the lives of transgender individuals who have been lost, and celebrates those who are still with us as siblings, family, and friends. As always we end the night with a candlelight vigil to remember our transgender siblings whose lives were lost to violent acts of hate over the last year. Reverend Jennifer will co-host with colleagues from the Affirming Faith Communities of Peoria.
