The Lustration ceremony originated as a rite of purification and blessing performed by the founders of the Correllian Nativist Tradition. The ceremony blesses members of the Tradition and Deity in both masculine and feminine aspects and recognizes the interconnectivity of all beings. The Oracle of the Ancestors is also delivered to those in attendance. Lustrations are held twice yearly, once in late winter/early spring to honor the Ancestors and another in late summer/early autumn to celebrate the Living. This ceremony involves the lighting of incense and a ritual blessing by water. (You may get sprinkled!)
