It seems to me that the artist’s struggle for his integrity must be considered as a kind of metaphor for the struggle, which is universal and daily, of all human beings. An artist tries to create something where nothing was before. They listen to that inner voice and as they do, they allow a part of creation within them to come forth. They struggle to create something that is unique and reflects their style. We too are like the artist striving each day to create that person that is true to that inner most part of ourselves. I invite you to come and explore this struggle.
