14 Church Picnic at the Herm Farm Church Picnic at the Herm Farm June 14, 2026 9:30 am - 1:30 pm 23215 Farmdale Rd, Washington, IL 61571, USA It’s Annual Church Picnic Time! This is an event you will not want to miss! Bring something to share for breakfast: fruit, sweet rolls, an egg dish, etc. Coffee, tea, lemonade, and juice are furnished. Bring a lawn chair if you are able; additional seating may be required. The Worship Service begins around 10:45am. After the service, fishing, boating, and swimming are available. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children on the lake. Plan now to take part in this end-of-the-year tradition. Bring the whole family! Bring your friends! Directions to Herm Farm for Church Picnic From Peoria: From I-74 East, take the Camp Street Exit (Route 8/Route 150) in East Peoria. Continue on Route 8 through East Peoria. At the far end of Fondulac Plaza, at the traffic light (McDonald’s on left/Dollar Tree on right), turn right onto Farmdale Road. Follow Farmdale Road about 2 miles. You will cross three RR crossings. The third crossing will be found after a sharp left at the sign for Farmdale Reservoir, which also points left. Go a short distance and stay right at the next fork. At the top of the hill, turn right onto the farm at mailbox 23215. There will be signs posted. From the North: Take Centennial Drive toward ICC. Turn right on Highview Road. Go 2.4 miles through 2 stop signs (now on Illini Drive). At McDonald’s (Route 8), go straight. Now you’re on Farmdale Road. Follow directions above. From Morton: Leave Morton on Main Street North. At the end, turn left onto Cooper Road. Turn right onto Schuck Road, then left onto Farmdale Road. Go 1.9 miles and turn left onto the farm at mailbox 23215. From Washington: Go east on Main Street toward Morton. Turn right onto Schuck Road. Just past Pine Lakes Golf course, turn right onto Farmdale Road.
