Speaker(s): Reverend Tet Gallardo
Overview:
Culture is lived religion. Cultural differences also cause religious differences. Folks who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color have long complained that the lack of culture in white spaces make for drab and morose ceremonies. By putting cultures as a Seventh Source of Unitarian Universalism, we urge people to open their minds to what a person brings with them – stretching the definition to encompass, family culture, work ethic, ethnic influences, and others.
Reverend Tet Gallardo (she/they) is the President and Executive Minister of the U Church of the Philippines.
